Hey familia!!!

How are yall? How bad is the cold? I hope that everyone is surviving!

We are working hard and are seeing miracles. In the midst of these great opportunities, we do have some difficulties though. We have three people that want to get baptized, but are living with someone so they cant get baptized yet. One investigator that wants to get baptized is Gladys, the wife of a less active. She is really great, she just needs to get baptized. A lot of members here do not understand the law of chastity (or at least a lot of less active members). Her daughter who is 8 is getting baptized saturday and we are excited for that! We have an 11 year old named Kevin who is getting baptized too. We are excited!!!! Another investigator named Jennifer is progressing, just one thing is holding up her baptism. We are just praying a lot that everything turns out fine. She really wants to be baptized but has to make a change really big in her life.

Yesterday we had an activity in the church called el centro de visitantes en la capilla,or visitor´s center inthe church. The sister missionaries gave tours, and the elders asked for references and taught about baptism. We had a good turnout, a couple of people fromthe Street, and a few of our investigators and less actives. It was a cool experience and we felt the spirit so strong during the entire thing!

We also saw a miracle with a part member family we are visiting. The daughter, 20 years old, committed to a date to be baptized!!! We were super happy and they said they would come to church too. The misión is full of disappointments too. We passed by, and no one answered the door, nor the phone. We will keep on trying though!

Saturday night we did splits with the members and returned to go to the last appointment of the day. When we got there, the sister said she was a Little busy and couldnt attend to us. So, we went to their neighbors next door. They are inactive and we normally just talk to the mom, but this time she wasnt their and her daughter came out. We had a lesson with her instead, and invited her to church. She said that she had promised the Lord that she would come back to church if He would save her two kids. He two Little boys are adorable, and miracles. She said that she knows that she has not fulfilled her committment and wanted to come withus. It is amazing that the last point of the day is when we saw miracles. That is how it normally goes, and that is ok. We have to persevere through the hard times and the Lord grants us with miracles.

I am learning, that I do not really get full joy out of doing nothing. It is ok to rest for a momento, but we get more joy out of doing things, especially serving others. I love serving others because I truly get joy out of their joy. Also, the Lord puts my life in perspective when I forget about myself and help others. Our problems are not really that big, we just think they are big because we magnify them when we just worry about ourselves. I also am learning that the Lord truly makes up the difference when we do all that we can. Sometimes we are just so tired it does not seem like we can make it through the day, but somehow we dont just make it through the day but thrive through the day. It is a miracle for me. The Lord ALWAYS makes sure it turns out when we put in all our efforts. I can testify to that.

i love yall un MONTÖn!!!! Keep warm!!!

love
